“Boutique Hotel” Modern Luxe Guest Bedroom

My client recently purchased a property for use as a short-term rental and wanted an aesthetic that captured the experience of a boutique hotel rather than a traditional guest room. Botanical wallpaper serves as the focal point, while travertine sconces, marble nightstands, a fringed chandelier, and a crisp black-and-white accent motif throughout the bedding, rug, and trim provide balance and cohesion.

The styling remains intentional and restrained. When a statement element is doing the heavy lifting, the surrounding materials must support rather than compete with it. The result feels elevated, memorable, and thoughtfully composed—creating a guest experience that lingers long after checkout.
