We begin with a consultation to understand your lifestyle, aesthetic preferences, and project goals. From there, I create initial mood boards and concept direction that capture the vision for your space. This is where we establish the foundation and creative direction for your project.

Procurement & Implementation

For virtual and short-term rental projects, you'll receive complete shopping lists with links and sourcing details. For full-service projects, I handle all purchasing, coordinate delivery and installation, and oversee final styling for the perfect finishing touches that bring your space to life. Every detail is managed seamlessly from order to completion.

Background

When this Denver property owner reached out, he had a clear goal: to create a short-term rental that would stand out in a highly competitive market. He envisioned a space that felt curated and elevated — one that nodded to Colorado’s mountain landscape while remaining distinct from the typical “Colorado cabin” aesthetic.

The Approach

We drew inspiration from global travels and artisan craft, building a palette around rich jewel tones—burnt sienna, deep aubergine, warm terracotta—balanced with natural textures and collected pieces. The goal was to create a space that felt both luxurious and lived-in, where guests could settle in and feel transported.

Every detail was intentional: the velvet upholstery, the handcrafted accent pieces, the layered textiles. This wasn't about following trends—it was about creating an experience that guests would remember and return to.

We started out with a thorough discovery during which time I provided vision boards to really nail down the Mountain Organic Modern style I recommended based upon his preferences. I then built 2D design boards featuring my furniture recommendations which I captured for him in an actionable shopping list.

The Results

Within two months of launch, the property achieved Airbnb Superhost status — a rare milestone for a new short-term rental and a testament to thoughtful design and guest experience. The home now commands $215 per night on weekdays and $312 per night on weekends, significantly above the Denver average daily rate of approximately $203 reported across the market*. It frequently appears as a Rare Find on Airbnb due to sustained demand. Consistent five-star reviews and strong occupancy further underscore the long-term value of designing with both guest experience and revenue performance in mind.
