This couple recently purchased their home outside of Boulder, CO and wanted an update that matched their style and busy lives with 2 young children. They knew that they liked organic, natural materials and neutral colors and so we decided on a Mountain Modern concept to celebrate our beautiful Colorado surroundings, incorporating olives and cognac tones along with warm neutrals. Framed textiles, and woven rugs act as stunning wall treatments along with the floor to ceiling drapery added for dramatic effect. The concrete fireplace surround, chimney and backsplash were added to bring the dynamic of the mountains into the living space along with the stunning scolecite sideboard. Lastly, the cherry built ins and floating shelves around the hood as well as performance velvets in olives and spruce tones in vintage textures echo the prolific evergreen forests all around their Colorado home.
