The concept for my client’s Mountain Modern kitchen project extends the themes from the main living space—mocha and terracotta dining chairs, black marble backsplash, weathered wood slab cabinetry, and pale olive quartzite countertops. The material palette stays consistent: natural, tactile, and layered.

The design balances raw and refined. The weathered wood feels collected and lived-in, while the black marble and quartzite bring polish. The result is a kitchen that feels connected to the rest of the home—functional, luxurious, and grounded in the Mountain Modern aesthetic without repeating itself.
