For this Central Colorado design visualization, created for a home surrounded by mesas and mountain peaks, the intention was to honor the original footprint while moving away from traditional High Country cabin aesthetics. Instead, we leaned into midcentury modern forms layered with organic materials, global influences, and a strong connection to the surrounding landscape.

An Oceanic carved wood door from Southeast Asia anchors the entry, introducing craftsmanship and a sense of discovery from the moment of arrival. In the living room, a concrete fireplace is framed by carved wood panels that conceal storage while preserving the home’s clean architectural lines. Earth tones, rich woods, and sculptural lighting bring warmth without relying on rustic clichés.

The result is a mountain home that feels grounded in its setting while offering a fresh interpretation of Colorado living.
