Modern Vintage in Edina, Minnesota

This classic Midwestern rambler bears many of the hallmarks of the midcentury modern era, but the client was drawn to the elegance of an earlier age. For the home’s Primary Suite remodel, she envisioned the timeless appeal of an all-white bathroom while remaining open to thoughtful touches of color—particularly through rich navy millwork. Aged-brass fixtures and hardware add warmth and character, while an understated navy pinstripe creates a subtle yet impactful point of distinction within the traditional subway tile. The result is a fresh interpretation of vintage style: classic in spirit, yet entirely suited to modern life.
