Designed for my client's second home in Boulder, Colorado, this project reinterprets Colorado cabin traditions through a modern lens. Rather than relying on expected mountain lodge tropes, we drew inspiration from the surrounding landscape itself—translating the geometry of native flagstone into an abstract area rug and layering organic materials with sculptural forms.

Oxidized metals, richly textured fabrics, and warm wood tones create a sense of comfort without sacrificing sophistication. Sheepskin lounge chairs evoke the coziness of a mountain chalet, while a cast coffee table and custom patinated chandelier echo one another through form and materiality. The palette remains grounded in muted earth tones that reference the landscape without directly mimicking it. The result is a mountain home that feels deeply connected to its setting while offering a fresh interpretation of Colorado living.
