Created for a Central Colorado home surrounded by mesas and mountain peaks, this design sought to honor the original footprint while avoiding traditional High Country cabin aesthetics. Instead, we leaned into midcentury modern forms layered with organic materials, global influences, and a strong connection to the surrounding landscape.

An Oceanic carved wood door from Southeast Asia anchors the entry, introducing a sense of craftsmanship and discovery from the moment of arrival. In the living room, a concrete fireplace is flanked by carved wood panels that conceal storage while preserving the home's clean architectural lines. Earth tones, rich woods, and sculptural lighting create warmth without relying on rustic clichés. The result is a mountain home that feels grounded in its setting while offering a fresh interpretation of Colorado living.
