CENTRAL COLORADO REMODEL

This design was created for a Central Colorado home surrounded by mesas and peaks. The clients wanted to honor the original footprint while avoiding traditional High Country cabin aesthetics. We leaned into midcentury modern forms layered with organic materials and global finds.

A carved wood door from Southeast Asia anchors the entry. The concrete fireplace is flanked by wood-carved panels that hide storage without disrupting the clean lines. The palette stays warm and natural—earth tones, rich woods, and sculptural lighting that feels intentional rather than rustic. The result respects the location without defaulting to the expected mountain lodge tropes.
